What is Rank®?
Rank® equipment is based on organic Rankine cycle (ORC) technology. It allows the combined electrical energy and useful heat production using a low-temperature heat source, with the associated economic and environmental benefits.
Rank® – High Temperature Heat Pumps
Rank® HP equipment uses low temperature heat (waste heat, renewable, or ambient air) to produce high temperature renewable heating from 100 °C with a small contribution of electricity. Compared to fossil fuel burners, it produces significant environmental and economic benefits given the high Coefficient of Performance (COP), between 3 and 4.

Among the main applications of the Rank® ORC machines, we highlight the waste heat recovery and the utilization of renewable heat sources, with a particular interest in cogeneration and trigeneration systems.
